Different approach therapy is your comprehensive center for psychotherapy and medication management. We respect each person for their individuality, providing each person with a different approach. We treat children without blaming and shaming the parents. We treat adults with depression, anxiety, and bipolar conditions understanding that you can’t simply “get over it”. In addition, we treat people from gay, lesbian, and other alternative lifestyles communities with non-judgment.

ADHD, ODD, oppositional defiance, depression, insomnia, panic attacks, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar are just a few conditions we treat. There is no shame in mental illness; often events in our lives and/or a chemical imbalance are the true cause of our condition. Choose us as we have the knowledge, experience and patience to provide you with the very best care.

My approach is to tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs. I treat adults with concerns about business/school performance and creativity, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, childhood sexual or physical abuse, adult trauma, alcohol/drug problems, PTSD, codependency, adult children of alcoholics, and self-esteem.

Prior stressful events can contribute to the stress we experience now. This can lead to frustration, feeling defeated, compulsive behavior to cope (e.g., drinking/drug abuse, excessive efforts to please, overspending, overworking, avoiding, etc). Therapy helps you to identify the causes, gain control, and find solutions to enable increased confidence and peace of mind.
